Once you walk through the gate, you will find yourself in an
atmosphere of a mountain village outside an ancient city.
A dignified stillness lingers in the air, as if the clamor of
nearby Gion area was a different world.
The old wooden doors and antique storeroom doors bring a nostalgic
feeling as if you have visited this place ago.
French word "L'auberge" means a restaurant that also provides lodging.
We take the concept of "a traditional Japanese Ryokan inn managed by
fine dining establishment to our hearts, devoting our efforts to providing
the most exquisite of the dishes at our Ryokan.
In addition, we offer further dining experiences in partnership with our branch restaurants in Kyoto, to provide dining experiences that exceed the expectations of the most demanding of our guests.
It is our sincerest wish for our Japanese Ryokan to be remembered as the place where the most delectable dishes are experienced.
